Goodbye VeloDevi. Helloooo Ümabomber.

Dear Fans, Friends and Frenemies, I have good news and bad news. First the bad news.

The VeloDevi is dead.

The good news is her reincarnation has been found! After years of searching by Tibetan monks and bike shamans, and the invention of a VeloDevi sensing medium known as “Enduro Racing”, the VeloDevi has been recognized in the body of the entity known as The Ümabomber. screenshot home

Yea, verily, they ARE the same spirit animal tomboy girlie girl, and yet they are light years apart. Please join us at The Umabomber Intergalatic Headquarters for even more potent ponderings, perilous puns, illuminating insights, and mutilated metaphors. Oh yes… and bikes. Duh.

This blog will remain intact, a digital totem and monument to the VeloDevi, for a period of one year.

It is, after all, the Year of the Horse! And if you have any doubt, check this out from “famous” astrologer Susan Levitt: The Wood Horse year is a time of fast victories, unexpected adventure, and surprising romance. It is an excellent year for travel, and the more far away and off the beaten path the better. Energy is high and production is rewarded. Decisive action, not procrastination, brings victory. But you have to act fast in a Horse year. If you are not 100% secure about a decision, then don’t do it. Events move so quickly in a Horse year that you don’t want to gallop off in the wrong direction.

I say there can be no wrong direction for the Umabomber! Ride on, lady…and I hope to see you on the trails!
